After 5 weekends of games, congratulations to the U15 Eastern Dragons Black Team who had a convincing win in the Grand Final against the U15 Southside Boys to become the U15 Phoenix League Champions!

A very big thank you to all our teams, athletes, coaches, managers and supporters for making this a great season.

Congratulations to our U17 Eastern Dragons Black Phoenix League Team.  This team has shown great teamwork, basketball skill and displayed good sportsmanship through out the competition and were crowned the winner of the 2017 U17 Phoenix League beating out a strong Franklin team at Allan Brewster Rec Centre on Saturday. Unfortunately it was a tough Cross Conference final losing only in overtime to the Central Bears.  A great team effort showing your fighting spirit until the end!

While the competition details are still be finalised by the organisers. The Eastern Dragons are looking to enter teams into each grade and are currently seeking expressions of interest for those players that wished to be considered for the U15 / U17 / U19 Term 1, 2019 Phoenix League Club Teams.

The Phoenix League was founded as a means to provide more opportunities for young persons to participate in high level basketball as they build towards achieving Representative honours.  NOTE: Player eligibility is still to be confirmed however we encourage all players both representative AND non representative players to register if interested.
