• SCHOOL YEAR 3/4 & Y5/6 - during Term 2, 3 and 4 the club enters Y3/4 and Y5/6 Eastern Dragons Club Teams into the local ABSL Eastern Basketball League, which play in various local venues against school teams on Thursdays during the school term in the ABSL Eastern Basketball League.
   

• SCHOOL YEAR 7/8 - during Term 2 and 3 the club also enters Y7/8 Eastern Dragons Club Teams into the local ABSL Eastern Basketball League, which play in various local venues against school teams on Wednesdays during the school term in the ABSL Eastern Basketball League.  There is then an opportunity for our Y7/8 players to participate in the ABSL Summer Hoops 3×3 League during Term 4.
   

• We encourage you to enter your child into a school team if his of her school has a basketball team in the league.  However, if they do not or it’s not convenient to do so, he or she is welcome to play in our Eastern Dragons Club Teams.
   

• In order to run our club teams we do rely on volunteers, so therefore require your help, so please let us know if you are able to assist with running a team or with team communications. Our staff will be available to provide support where required along with the opportunity to attend any coaches clinics that are available.
   

• If selected in an Eastern Dragons Club Team, you must register as an Eastern Basketball Club Member for the current year

​We are currently seeking expressions of interest for players wishing to play in the Term 2 Eastern Dragons Club Teams.  All players that wish to be considered MUST REGISTER their expression of interest and MUST ATTEND the CLUB MUSTER.

The Eastern Basketball Club will be entering Year 3/4, Year 5/6 and Year 7/8 Club Teams into the Term 2, ABSL Eastern Basketball League's 8 week competition.
 

• GAME DAYS (during school term 2):

  • School Year 7/8 Games are on Wednesdays

  • School Year 3/4 and School Year 5/6 Games are on Thursdays

• We will only be able to have club teams if we have parent volunteers to run the teams, so please let us know if you are able to assist with running a team or with team communications. Our staff will be available to provide support where required along with the opportunity to attend any coaches clinics available.
   

• CLUB MUSTER - Wednesday 20th March 2019 in the Pakuranga College Gym, Pigeon Mountain Road, Pakuranga

  • School Year 3/4 attend 6.00pm - 6.45pm

  • School Year 5/6 attend 6.45pm - 7.40pm

  • School Year 7/8 attend 7.40pm - 8.30pm
    
    ** Note: non marking shoes only are permitted in the gym this applies to players & spectators **
     

• By registering you are expressing your child’s interest joining a club team however this is a trial process and no places are guaranteed.

A fantastic effort was displayed by all of our Eastern Dragons Club Teams in their respective play off games in the final week of the ABSL Eastern Basketball League.

All teams fought hard and proudly represented the club, leaving everything they had out on the court, narrowly missing out on winning their games.
